Darren Harris - Success Coach

I'm here to help

One primary goal left in life

In a way, that’s all you need to know. In my own terms, I’m successful. I’m happily married, and I’m a father. I have a happy and fulfilling personal life. I’ve enjoyed success in numerous spheres - academic and professional. And you know what? My one remaining primary goal in life is to help others achieve what I’ve achieved.

It all began with a realisation that I was under-achieving. I made the biggest and best decision of my life. I found a mentor. Next, I dedicated myself to a strategic path to personal achievement. From day one, my entire life changed - and has continued to change, for the better. The same can and will happen to you.

Who am I?

I’m a creative thinker. I have ideas - lots of them. I have plenty of interests too - some might say too many. But curiosity is a uniquely human trait that can deliver profound pleasure and satisfaction. After all, the world is a fascinating place, and its people even more so.

I’ve enjoyed the services of several coaches and mentors, each from different disciplines. I’ve learned from world-renowned mentors such as Brian Tracey, Grant Cardone, and JT Foxx (and his team of mentors). Most significantly, I work closely with Bob Proctor and Sandy Gallagher of the Proctor Gallagher Institute and their outstanding team.

I am 100% committed to lifelong learning. That means I constantly draw upon on a lifetime of insights from other professionals, my studies and my entire network of mentors and coaches - insights which I’m determined to pass on to you.

A unique career path

My career path and experiences are unique isn’t that what makes the world such a fun place? With my background in the culinary world - bakery, hospitality and manufacturing - I’ve found myself in front of countless fascinating personalities. I’ve learned so much from observing how they perform under external and personal challenges and pressures.

I have a Masters In Culinary Innovation and Product Development. I specialise in Research, Development and Innovation, and have worked professionally in R&D.

I consult and mentor both individuals and organisations (food & non-food) as both a process and an expert consultant.

My mind is open. My approach is to be honest, direct, yet supportive.

Mentoring both teams and individuals

I train and mentor both businesses and individuals. I’m proud and privileged to have qualified as a professional high-performance consultant for the incredible Proctor Gallagher Institute.

I work professionally in education; this involves teaching and mentoring mature students, international students and young adults. I am the Programme Chair of the Bakery & Pastry Arts Programme in Technology University, Dublin and have responsibility for educational content and programme delivery. I am also a qualified professional bakery and pastry arts technology and management graduate and a skilled professional chef with Michelin Star, fine dining experience.

I have also been Secretary to the Chair of the Leinster Panel of Chefs, which is part of The Panel of Chefs of Ireland. I’m currently a volunteer director and board member of the Coeliac Society of Ireland (Registered charity), and I advise on Food, Beverage and Foodservice Advisory Bodies, for whom I co-design various terms of reference.
